This coat was upcycled from a wholecloth cotton quilt. I garment dyed it with a fiber reactive dye in a light terracotta, while the wavy quilting lines remained white because of the thread's polyester content. It is tightly quilted so the drape is fairly stiff and sits more like a jacket than a sweater. All seams are bias bound with upcycled cotton fabric. The pockets are generously sized and perfect for running errands or lounging around the house. Flat lay measurements are: 32" from armpit to armpit, 9" arm opening at shoulder and 27" from neck to hem. The date and signature were embroidered in silk thread.
