Each size of this coat was made from a different wholecloth cotton quilt: the Small was made from a striped quilt where the original green and blue striping still shows faintly through the kingfisher blue overdye. The M/L was upcycled from a very soft quilt with an intricate interwoven quilting pattern. The pockets on the M/L have been pieced to utilize as much of the quilt as possible. This detail is photographed. The XL was made from a soft quilt with an overall squiggle quilting pattern, with the underlying lattice print from the original quilt showing slightly through the kingfisher blue overdye. All seams are bias bound with upcycled cotton fabric. The pockets are generously sized and perfect for running errands or lounging around the house. The date and signature were embroidered in pearl cotton thread.
Flat lay measurements are as follows:
S- 25" from armpit to armpit, 9" arm opening at shoulder and 26" from neck to hem.
M/L-28" from armpit to armpit, 9" arm opening at shoulder and 27" from neck to hem.
XL- 30" from armpit to armpit, 11" arm opening at shoulder and 32" from neck to hem. *XL quilt coats fit 1X-4X, depending on how oversized the desired fit is. Please use the flat lay measurements above.*
