These oven mitts are made from upcycled cotton fabric, some hand-dyed, with lining made from an upcycled torn wool blanket. Wool is the best insulator! I made these mitts on the smaller size, as I personally find most mitts to be big and unwieldy. Please be aware when purchasing that the opening is between 4.5" and 5" (handmade items always vary a little!) so it won't fit bigger hands. There is a handy little loop at one side of the wrist opening for hanging the mitt in your kitchen. These mitts can be washed and dried hot in home laundry machines.
