These scrunchies are made with both upcycled fabric AND upcycled elastic. The elastic I use is generally from bed sheets or clothing that I am upcycling for other projects. This means that the elastic is usually 1/2" to 1" in width, making it more robust than new 1/4" elastic, used in most commercially produced scrunchies. The fabrics I use range from cotton to linen to silk, and will be in the name along with the color as you choose. A lot of these are also hand-dyed!
